Tuesday, we went to Sea World!
We arrived around 9. It made for a relaxing morning after a late night out!
It's gotten so much bigger than it was when I was a kid. We planned on making this a short day, because we knew the boys wanted to swim and play at our resort.
Little Miss was looking oh so cute!
(Side note... that fan you see... LIFESAVOR!) I got mine here , and it put out the wind! I loved the easy clothespin like feature and the fact that it had a low and high speed. We moved it around to different strollers and kiddos when Hylan wasn't using it. A little breeze makes all the difference sometimes!
They touched sting rays at the entrance of the park.
(It's ridiculous how much these two love each other. They are the cutest!)
We didn't really have this day planned out, so we ventured to the "kid zone" area, and lo and behold they had a splash pad.
Thankfully we all had a change of clothes in our bag, so they hopped right in... and had a ball!
While the rest of us waited in the shade. :)
The kids then road the train,
played in an enormous playground (that you can see a little part of it behind Hylan and me... which was adult assisted most of the time),
and Burke rode his first roller coaster!
This picture says a lot... like... he has no idea what a roller coaster is. :)
He soon found out.
He was so unsuspecting... I kinda felt bad! He would ride the Barnstormer later in Magic Kingdom... so it didn't scar him to badly.
We then caught two shows... the dolphin show and then the whale show. Both were AWESOME.
(Side note: the baby care center was beyond nice... so clean and cool! It was located in the kid zone area.)
I noticed they had a separate park where you can have a dolphin experience... I would love to do that once the kids are bigger. When Ryan and I did that on our honeymoon, it was by far is one of the best experiences I've ever had!
After the show, we all got a cold treat. Icees, ice cream, and popsicles, and then headed back to the resort for a swim. If we were to do it again, I'm sure we would have made sure we actually got to see more of the animals! ha!
When we got back, we had some down time...
Haha...Pool ready :)
Hylan had to eat before we actually left for the pool, so I took a minute to get some pictures of this cutie pie!
(Her legs look freakishly long in this picture!)
Then we met up with brother. :)
And Ree. :)
The resort splash pad was awesome, and there was a zero entry pool, which was great for Hudson and Burke.
Ryan and I got in with Burke, and had a ball throwing him up in the air to one another. He thought it was pretty fun too. :)
We put Hylan in too, but found she was much happier watching her brother and cousins from the lounge chair.
Needless to say the boys were pooped after their day, but not too tired to hit up the arcade!
However, Hylan and I headed back to get a jump start on the night... not that it helped any! (HAHAHA) This would be the night that she started getting a runny nose (yep... first cold! :() and was up almost every hour.
If there is one thing I learned, it's that you take your crazy life with you... even on vacation.... and make some great memories doing it!
