House Happenings

It's been awhile since I've blogged about the house! Yes, we went through a temporary halt slow down with making progress, but for good reason... baby and Auburn football!

Anyway, here's the latest:
                                                                          
 THIS, my friends...

is now GONE! Yep... one U-haul trailer and three trips to the dump, and we have a clutter free backyard! The neighbors have expressed their thanks.

Insulation was added underneath "the kitchen floor."

 All electrical and gas lines are now in place.

Today, I put in all the insulation in the walls, while Ryan put in the ceilings, not to mention ...

LIGHTS!!!!

This is the view from our dining room, looking into the kitchen. The glow behind the tarp excites me!

         Also, we are going to have two pendant lights... don't worry... the hole to the right of it is where the second is going. 

It seems like the kitchen progress is really moving now. All I can say is 4 1/2 months and counting! :)
