Stick a fork in me...

I'm almost done!

Well.... nugget technically still needs to bake a bit longer, but I'm 38 wks, so I can definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel! As of last Thursday he weighed 5 lbs and 10 oz. by their measurements. The hope is that he continues to put on the lbs in these next few weeks! Now I'm getting twice a week sonograms to make sure he's gaining wieght... geez. There is a plus to this "problem"... 1) I birth a small baby... perfectly okay with that. :) 2) I get to see and hear his sweet heartbeat twice a week till he's born! Which leads me to... my list of things I'm going to miss about being pregnant....

I really am going to miss...
~not having to wash my belly button... as it is flat as a pancake. I don't think it's ever been this clean in all it's life. :)
~ feeling our baby inside my tummy.
~watching my belly move with husband's phone playing "All We Do is Win" sitting on top of it. war eagle.
~ dressing my baby bump... it's really kind of fun to have a fashion change.
~ the ability to eat too much and be able to hide the "food baby" with a real baby!... it fits right in with the bump.
~ the wonder of what he will look like, act like, and eventually become.
~ Ryan taking Bailey out to potty in the middle of the night instead of me.
~ Ryan cleaning up Bailey potty mistakes.
~ everyone being so very nice! From giving up their seat, to bending over to get my groceries I put underneath my grocery cart for me!
~ having a reason to take a nap... everyday.
~eatting as much bread as I desire and thinking it's going straight to baby. :)

 Every time I feel him move, it reminds me what a miracle this really is... something only God can create, and I feel honored.

Jeremiah 1:4-5
The word of the LORD came to me, saying,  Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;
(NIV Bible)

  1. Truly a miracle! God is so good! And you are a bright light to share the positive things about pregnancy so I know I'll have some things to look forward to one day! See you Sunday!
